Welcome to our new website!

We are excited to launch the new website of the Borough of Lakehurst Historical Society. We are a small volunteer organization who seeks to preserve Lakehurst’s past and inform visitors about the vibrant history of our small town, from the airships to the railroads and more!

Our museum is located on 300 Center Street in Lakehurst (across from the McDonalds and Lakehurst Community Center).

The museum is open and run by our society member volunteers every Wednesday and Sunday (unless otherwise posted) from 12:30 pm until 3pm.

The Pine Tree Inn on Union Avenue in Lakehurst attracted visitors to take in the fresh air of the Pinelands during the early 20th century before the Great Depression.
